In October 2014, we had the pleasure of travelling to Berlin to Maxime, an exceptional wine bar that exclusively serves vins naturels and author’s wines. There we held our first vertical with a group of wine merchants, sommeliers and wine journalists: We tasted jeninser from the vintages 2007 to 2012. The experts were taken with it, even enthusiastic. Manfred Klimek, founder of the wine blog “Captain Cork” and himself a wine producer in Italy, wrote a beautiful tribute in the «Welt am Sonntag».
