My nanumy is made from one of the most popular white grape varieties of all, Sauvignon Blanc. A modern white wine made from Valais grapes.

nanumy tastes nothing like a normal Sauvignon Blanc. It is an eccentric, characterized by fresh, exotic fruit aromas with a lively, crisp minerality. Its strong, alpine character develops with careful viticulture and highly differentiated vinification.

I am often asked what the melodious name “nanumy” actually means. I was inspired when I took a closer look at the popular “Lorem ipsum” text. A real treasure trove: in the fifth paragraph it says “diam nonumy eirmod tempor”. From there, it wasn’t far to “nanumy”. Or would “tempor” have been better?
