Spirit and flavour from Jenins
aspermont is 100% Jenins, but not a Pinot Noir like any other: the elegant, fine Pinot Noir grapes are pressed first. Depending on the quality of the vintage and at the winemaker’s discretion, either the pressed Gamaret grapes from Jenins are added or a blend is created. This is because the combination of pomace and wine has a lot of power and aroma, which gives the Pinot Noir that certain something – rich and delicate at the same time.
